Atlanta Braves have a great shot at making the playoffs in
the 2012 season. Their team has been getting better over the last few years.
The positive part about the Braves organization is that they bring up some up
the top prospects in the country. Three to five years ago they had some of the
best recruits in baseball. Even though these players were very young and
immature at the time and could not make it the playoffs, they have shown signs
of maturity. These young prospects that we have been watching for the last
several years, are now turning into the veterans that we need to make it to the
playoffs. Most of them were coached by one of the best coaches in all of Major
League Baseball (MLB) and were taught more than a lot of other players to ever
play the game. The Braves have also made a few transactions in the offseason
that will help the ball club. Fortunately for the organization, they have one
of the best pitching rotations in the MLB. In the game of baseball, pitching is
the key to winning games. If you have a great pitching staff then it is hard
for the other team to produce an offense and score runs against you. They also
kept Chipper Jones which is the heart and soul of the ball club today. He is
getting a lot older and starting to get injured more frequently, but he is
still putting up the numbers to be an Atlanta Brave. Not only does he help our
offense tremendously, but he is also a mentor to a lot of the younger players
on the team. With all of these combined factors; I feel that the Braves are a
very strong team and have a lot of potential to be World Champions this year.
